The Monopoly Go Rolls Drop Event is here for the first time, running from January 22nd, 2025, at 10 AM ET until January 24th, 7:30 AM ET. The event follows a familiar format, similar to Prize Drop and Sticker Drop, with rewards mostly related to dice.
But before you playing Monopoly Go Rolls Drop, take a moment to plan your strategy. Is it worth spending your resources here? Let's break it all down and make sure you’re fully prepared.
Just a reminder: The next partner event is coming on January 24, 2025. If you're planning to take part in the upcoming partner event, saving your dice might be a better option to secure those rewards.
And if you prefer rewards like stickers and dice skins, it’s better to skip this event, as the rewards are limited to dice only. Earning more dice is relatively easy through regular gameplay, and you can pair this with buying Monopoly Go Dice for maximum effect.
For detailed rewards of the Rolls Drop Event, you can review the rewards section below to help you decide whether or not to proceed with playing.
The rewards for the first page of the event are as follows:
Level | Points Required | Reward |
1 | 540 | 50 free dice rolls |
2 | 1,300 | 50-100 free dice rolls (green vault) |
3 | 2,300 | 100 free dice rolls |
4 | 3,600 | 85-170 free dice rolls (orange vault) |
5 | 5,300 | 500 free dice rolls |
If you've played Prize Drop or Sticker Drop before, you'll already know how to play it. It's the same format, just with different rewards. If you're new, it's simple: Have you played Plinko in arcades before? It's just like that. Still not familiar? No worries, we've got a clear guide ready to get you rolling!
1. Click the chip icon on the right side of the screen to enter the Rolls Drop.
2. Tap the drop button to release a chip into the Peg-E board, just like in a pachinko game.
3. As the chip drops, it will hit bumpers, bounce around, and eventually land at the bottom of the board. Scopely seems to like to keep refreshing how the game boards look, and this time, we've got two prize bumpers without many pegs around them, but beware of all the small pegs right above the point slots at the bottom of the board.
4. There are two bumpers without many pegs around them that can be hit up to 15 times, each granting corresponding rewards, and the chip will land in different slots, awarding different points.
5. You can increase your multiplier to maximize the points you earn with each drop.
6. If the points you earn complete a milestone, you’ll receive the rewards.
Tokens that allow you to play Rolls Drop are limited and highly valuable, requiring active gameplay and sufficient dice rolls to acquire. Here's where you can find them:
● Center Banner Event: The current banner event tied to Rolls Drop is called Icy Spectacle. Some milestone rewards include Peg-E tokens. To earn them, you need to roll actively and land on specific tiles. Using a multiplier can help you achieve bigger rewards more quickly.
● Daily Leaderboard Tournaments: Some milestones in these tournaments will reward you with Peg-E tokens. Also, ranking high in the daily leaderboard tournaments is a fantastic way to earn more dice.
● In-Store Rewards: The in-store rewards refresh every 8 hours, offering dice, cash, and event tokens. Currently, the rewards include Rolls Drop tokens, so make sure to check regularly to stock up.
● Quick wins: Completing daily tasks can also reward you with tokens, so don’t skip those.
● Hitting the peg e bumpers: Bumpers will reward tokens too. Focus on hitting these specific bumpers to keep the game going and maximize your tokens effectively.
To check how many points you need to unlock the next reward, simply click on the reward icon at the bottom of the event screen, and a tooltip will display the remaining points needed.
Althouth in Monopoly Go Site, it claims that Each drop is random and cannot be influenced. But according to many players test, there are still tips and trick to help you win big.
1. Focus on Non-Cash Bumpers
Cash rewards might seem tempting, but they’re far less valuable than dice or token rewards. Whenever possible, aim for bumpers that offer dice or tokens for the best returns.
2. Use the Highest Multiplier (x30)
If you want to maximize your rewards, always set your multiplier to x30 before dropping a token. Here’s why this strategy is effective:
● Each bumper flips to a new reward type after being hit 15 times.
● By using the x30 multiplier, you’ll hit the bumper 15 times in a single drop, which immediately triggers its reward (e.g., dice).
● The bumper will then flip to a new reward type (e.g., tokens), and the remaining 15 hits will trigger this second reward.
● Essentially, one x30 drop can earn you two rewards in one go!
3. Token Stacking
Save your Peg-E tokens and use them all at once instead of spreading them out over time. This approach gives you better control over your progress and ensures you’re using resources efficiently.
4. Leverage Airplane Mode
If you’re worried about accidental drops or want to plan your moves more carefully, try enabling airplane mode to temporarily pause the game and strategize your next steps.
5. Choose the Right Dropper
The chips dropped on the leftmost side of the board are more likely to fall straight down without hitting bumpers. While this reduces the chance of bumper rewards, it increases your likelihood of landing in high-point slots at the bottom.
The Rolls Drop Event is a fantastic opportunity for players who need to boost their dice supply quickly. By understanding the mechanics and applying these strategies, you can maximize your rewards and make the most out of your tokens and dice rolls.
However, if your priorities lie elsewhere—like stickers, skins, or the partner event rewards starting on January 24th—it might be better to save your resources for later. IGZ also offers Monopoly Go boosting service, you can explore our website to get them.
Whatever you decide, plan wisely and make every drop count. Good luck!
