In Monopoly Go, Tycoon Racer is a team-based event where you build a four-player team and compete against other teams for big rewards. Unlike the Partners event, Tycoon Racer now allows players to participate in solo mode and compete against individuals, similar to the daily tournaments.
In this event, players in a team share a board and contribute to the total points. The ranking is based on these points, with the top-ranked players receiving the best rewards and those ranked lower receiving smaller rewards.
Tycoon Racer events typically occur on a monthly basis, though their schedule can sometimes be influenced by other mini-game events. The theme of Tycoon Racer may also change to reflect the season or a holiday, with variations like Snow Racers, Harvest Racers, or Beach Racers, all following the same core rules.

The Monopoly Go Tycoon Racers event is divided into two key phases: the team-up phase and the racing phase.
The first 24 hours of the event are for building your team with friends. You can handpick trusted friends who can actively contribute to your team’s success. Buying Monopoly Go Racer Event Slots is another way to easily build a team, with the added assurance of securing first place at the end of the game. During this time, you’ll also start collecting flags, the currency you need to roll dice and accumulate points.
Once your team of four players is set, Tycoon Racers will match you with other teams of similar skill levels to compete in a three-race championship.
If you can't find a team during this phase and if you've sent or accepted any invites, you’ll be auto-assigned to a team by Monopoly Go when the races begin. However, joining late may reduce your chances of winning the grand prize.
While teaming up is the best way to maximize rewards, you can also opt to play solo mode. But the rewards in solo mode are smaller compared to those in team mode, as outlined in the previous section on rewards.
Monopoly Go Tycoon Race consists of three rounds: Race 1, Race 2, and Race 3. Each race lasts one day, so over the course of these three or four days, you’ll have the chance to earn flags.
Flags activate a special dice popper that allows you to roll three dice at once. Each roll costs 20 flags, and the numbers rolled on the dice are added to your team’s overall progress. The more flags you spend on dice rolls, the further your team advances on the race track.
Each race position earns medals, and at the end of the three races, the team with the most medals wins the championship. The third race is especially important, as it rewards double the medals and the best prize.
Here’s an overview of the medal system based on race rankings:
Additionally, your team can earn lap rewards by completing laps. You’ll find a treasure chest at the center of the board, which may contain rewards like stickers, dice, cash, or flags. You’ll be given a choice between two options, so you can select the reward that benefits your team the most.
The team with the most medals at the end of the three races wins the grand prize. To see what’s included in the grand prize, just click on the trophy icon.
1. Prepare enough dice for the events
Monopoly Go events, like Tycoon Racers, is kind of a dice eater. In order to get enough flags to win the game, you will end up using a tons of dice. To avoid running out, it's agood idea to stock up or even buy Mobopoly Go Dice before the event starts.
2. Choose the right partners and play in team mode
We all know how frustrating it can be to join a team where some members don't actively participate. If you don't have many trusted friends on your board, you can buy Monopoly Go Racer Event slots at IGZ. This not only guarantees you reliable teammates but also ensures you'll secure the first prize, with a refund available if you don't win.
You can choose to play in team mode or solo mode. While solo mode lets you compete independently against three other players, teaming up is the better option. In team mode, you'll benefit from bigger and better rewards, plus lap rewards become much easier to earn.
3. Collect as many flags as possible
Flags are crucial for success in Tycoon Racers, and there are multiple ways to collect them:
● Quick Wins rewards
● Top banner events
● Tournaments
● Free gifts from shop store
● Board pickups
Landing on specific tiles and completing certain events will help you earn flags. If you have a High Roller boost, you can gather thousands of flags at once when landing on certain tiles.
4. Dont put the same effort into every race
The third race is the most important because it offers double rewards. Instead of spreading your effort evenly across all races, focus on the third one. Play in the first or second race, but save your dice and flags for the third race. You can strategize with your teammates and let them know about this plan so everyone can work together. A great tip is to hold off using your flags until the last 30 minutes of the event—this keeps your competitors guessing about how many flags you actually have.
5. Use up all your flags
One final tip: don’t let your flags go to waste. If you don’t use them before the event ends, they’ll convert into cash, which isn’t nearly as valuable. So, make sure to use up all your flags before the timer runs out to get the most out of the event.
The table below comprises a list of all the previous Tycoon Racers events that have occurred in Monopoly GO.
The most recent Tycoon Racers event began on February 6th. For future events, the exact start date is uncertain and will depend on official announcements. Be sure to check for updates from the game’s official channels for the latest information.
The best multiplier depends on your flags and dice rolls. To maximize your chances, make sure to collect as many flags as possible and use them strategically with dice poppers to progress through the race track faster. Higher dice rolls lead to greater movement on the track and better chances to win.
The Tycoon Racers event lasts for about four days in total: 24 hours for the team-up phase, and three days for the race phase (one day per race).
The number of flags needed depends on how many dice rolls you want to make. Each roll costs 20 flags, so having enough flags to keep using the dice popper is crucial. The more flags you have, the further your team progresses on the race track. Additionally, it's important to monitor your opponents' scores and calculate how many more flags you'll need to stay ahead or catch up, adjusting your strategy accordingly.
If two teams have the same points, they will both receive the rewards for that rank. However, if no one participates (all teams have 0 points), everyone will receive the fourth-place rewards.
